I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
